A PRAYER FOR TODAY - BIGGER

Lord, I am overwhelmed today with the bigness of so much frailty and need - mine and all around me. Help me to trust You to the point that I am overwhelmed even more by how so much bigger You are.

UPCOMING EVENTS:

PRAYING TOGETHER is our weekly prayer gathering, meeting on Wednesdays at 7pm in B1.

SACRED SPACE, Our next Sacred Space evening will be on Friday, March 11th, 2011, 6 to 10 pm. Join us for a quiet and calming environment; live worship; and prayer stations to draw our hearts to God. You can stay as long as you like and come and go when you like. We will be having a special focus on the upcoming Arizona CityFest, and Open Door's involvement in it.

CONVERSATIONS ON PRAYER is our "non-class" on Sunday mornings. We have really enjoyed this informal format as a way to connect with God, with our questions, struggles and God's truths about prayer, and also to experience and enjoy community with one another. ABOUT US . . .

We are a community of prayer-hearted friends, growing in love with Jesus and one another. This blog began as a place to record our amazing adventure of being met by the Lord during our first two weeks of 24-7 prayer in 2007, as well as throughout the process leading up to it. We continue to seek Him and connect with Him in worship and prayer, as well as desiring to find ways to invite others to experience and be ministered to by Him.
As we journey together, in our pursuit of God's presence and to hear His heart, these are our stories and our expressions of worship.
